In 2021, I began my dream project of making a bilingual children’s book. Now that it is finally finished, I have successfully self published it through Barnes & Noble’s website, with its high quality print.

It’s not just another bilingual story created simply for educational purposes, it is also a narrative of friendship, not taking good things for granted, and the importance of taking care of what you already have.

Mimi is a little girl who receives a stuffed lion from her grandmother. Her mother asks her to play with him one day, much to her dismay, and the two of them go outside. Something miraculous occurs and Luis grows several feet in height and comes to life! One day however, Mimi accidentally leaves Luis outside in the rain, and he goes missing…
